Torchwood’s Eve Myles is coming to Anglicon 2018!

Anglicon has made yet another guest announcement to its already awesome line-up. The amazing UK actress Eve Myles from Torchwood is coming. We know…we know…just breath.

Eve Myles is an established face on British TV with regular appearances in BelongingTales from the Pleasure Beach and Colditz. In the 2005 Doctor Who episode “The Unquiet Dead” her appearance led to a lead role in the Doctor Who spin-off series Torchwood. The character Gwen Cooper appeared in all four series between 2006 and 2011 and now reprises the role in the ongoing Big Finish series of adventures. Outside the Doctor Who and Torchwood multiverse, Eve’s other credits include roles in Victoria, Merlin, Frankie, You, Me & Them, Little Dorrit, Broadchurch, and so much more.

Anglicon 2018 is the Pacific North-West’s only Doctor Who and British Media Convention, and it will be taking place on November 30th through December 2nd, 2018, at the Doubletree by Hilton SeaTac.

Following on from the success of 2017’s Day of the Doctors, this year will celebrate The Women of British Media, with a stellar line up of British Female Talent both attending the event in person and joining for Skype interviews.

Other guests confirmed are Patricia Quinn aka Magenta from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Nicola Bryant – Peri, the US companion to the Fifth Doctor Who, and Hattie Hayridge – Holly from Red Dwarf and one of the UK’s top stand up comediennes. More amazing guests will be announced in the coming months.

2018 will also see the Anglicon’s first Artists Alley – showcasing some of Seattle’s best comic book talent. The first Artists Alley guest has been announced and it’s top Marvel UK (and Doctor Who) Comic artist Lee Sullivan!
