SciFi Monkeys is happy and ecstatic to announce that we have partnered with Seattle’s own British Media Convention – Anglicon!

We will be joining them as a sponsor and will be helping bring some awesome new events and programming to the convention. That includes a whole new level of programming we are calling Anglicon After Dark. Stay tuned as we get closer to the show for more about that.

So what can make this news even better? How about the news that we have arranged for the very talented and awesome Patricia Quinn to come to the convention. That’s right, Magenta from the Rocky Horror Picture Show will be delighting the crowd at Anglicon!

Anglicon 2018 is the Pacific North-West’s only Doctor Who and British Media Convention, and it will be taking place on November 30th through December 2nd, 2018, at the Doubletree by Hilton SeaTac.

Following on from the success of 2017’s Day of the Doctors, this year will celebrate The Women of British Media, with a stellar line up of British Female Talent both attending the event in person and joining for Skype interviews.

Other guests confirmed are Nicola Bryant – Peri, the US companion to the Fifth Doctor Who, and Hattie Hayridge – Holly from Red Dwarf and one of the UK’s top stand up comediennes. More amazing guests will be announced in the coming months.

2018 will also see the Anglicon’s first Artists Alley – showcasing some of Seattle’s best comic book talent. The first Artists Alley guest has been announced and it’s top Marvel UK (and Doctor Who) Comic artist Lee Sullivan!

So don’t hesitate and head over to the Anglicon website and get a membership and come hang out with us!
