Disney and Lucasfilm have released a new featurette for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The video gives a behind-the-scenes look at what Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Kelli Marie Tran had to go through when training for their fight scenes.
A new TV spot was also released for the film. It gives us a little bit of unseen footage of Poe, Rey, the First Order…however, not much. Check out both videos below.
Having taken her first steps into the Jedi world, Rey joins Luke Skywalker on an adventure with Leia, Finn, and Poe that unlocks mysteries of the Force and secrets of the past.
The Last Jedi is the eighth film in the Star Wars saga following Star Wars: The Force Awakens not including the prequel film Rogue One. Episode IX. The final installment of the sequel trilogy is scheduled to be released on December 20, 2019. The film will be clocking in at 152 minutes, making it the longest film in the franchise to date.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski. The film was written and directed by Rian Johnson.
The film stars Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Andy Serkis, Benicio del Toro, Laura Dern, and Kelly Marie Tran.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to hit theaters and IMAX on December 15th, 2017.
