Jaguar Motion Pictures has released a trailer for their upcoming scifi film Crossbreed. It looks like some serious fun, check it out below.

The trailer feels kind of like a rollercoaster and I personally can’t wait to see more. It has just about everything I love in a good scifi thriller flick, weird aliens, awesome visual effects, spaceships, a ragtag team…etc.  Oh, and did I mention Vernon Wells.

Synopsis: In the near future, the President of the New United States of America hires a team of military veterans to retrieve a biological alien weapon from a top secret research facility orbiting the Earth. The mission goes awry when it is revealed that the facility is being maintained by a double agent with allegiance both to the President as well as alien arms dealers. Facing an immeasurable task, team leader Adam “Boss” Ryker must face not only the heavily-armed personnel guarding the facility but also the alien biological weapon itself…

Crossbreed stars Stink Fisher (Gotham, The Lovely Bones), Daniel Baldwin (Hawaii Five-0, Homicide), Vivica A. Fox (Independence Day, Empire), Vernon Wells (Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, Commando, Weird Science), Devanny Pinn (House of Manson, Casey Anthony: An American Mystery), John T. Woods (The ABC’s of Death 2, Down and Dangerous), Jason McNeil (Black Belt Magazine contributor), Antoine Lanier, Brandyn T. Williams, Mu-Shaka Benson, Jason John Beebe, Michael McIntyre, Olivia Baseman, and Tammy Jean.

The film was directed by Brandon Slagle who co-wrote the film with Robert Thompson. Donna and John Kopp serve as executive producers.

A special note about the film, it is the first time the President of the United States (played by Vivica A. Fox) has been portrayed by an African-American Woman in a feature film.

There isn’t a release date for Crossbreed yet, but we will keep you posted. Until then, tell us what you think of the trailer.
