Tom Cruise introduces us to the final trailer for Universal‘s The Mummy. The trailer is packed full of action from the forthcoming film. You can find it below.

The film is the first installment to Universal Pictures‘ Dark Universe film series. The next slated film in the series is Bride of Frankenstein scheduled for February of 2019. The film is also the second remake of the 1932 film of the same name and a ‘reboot’ of the 1999 version starring Brendan Fraser.

Synopsis: Thought safely entombed in a tomb deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient princess  whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension. From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.

The Mummy is directed by Alex Kurtzman. The story was written by Jon Spaihts, and Christopher McQuarrie. The film is produced by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Chris Morgan and Sean Daniel.

The film stars Tom Cruise, Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson, Courtney B. Vance, and Russell Crowe.

The Mummy is scheduled for theatrical premiere on June 9, 2017. It’s just a few days away…are you excited? Or did you want more Brendan Fraser?
