Sony Pictures Entertainment has released the first clip for Resident Evil: Vendetta via Youtube that uses a delightfully reminiscent style of gun fighting found in Equilibrium, but with zombies.
Resident Evil: Vendetta is based on Capcom‘s Resident Evil franchise, the third of the Resident Evil CGI films, and is set between Resident Evil 6 and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
BSAA Chris Redfield enlists the help of government agent Leon S. Kennedy and Professor Rebecca Chambers from Alexander Institute of Biotechnology to stop a death merchant with a vengeance from spreading a deadly virus in New York.
Resident Evil: Vendetta is directed by Takanori Tsujimoto, and written by Makoto Fukami. Producing the film is Hiroyuki Kobayashi.
Starring in Resident Evil: Vendetta are Matthew Mercer, Kevin Dorman, and Erin Cahill.
Resident Evil: Vendetta is scheduled for limited theatrical release on June 19, 2017.
