New Line has released a pretty long teaser for the film remake of Stephen King’s It. Check it out below, as always with a slew of screenshots.

If you take away anything from this trailer…stay out of the water in the town of Derry. You have no idea what could be lurking. You may start to hate balloons too.

Synopsis: In the Town of Derry, the local kids are disappearing one by one, leaving behind torn body parts/remains. In a place known as ‘The Barrens’, a group of seven kids are united by their horrifying and strange encounters with a clown called Pennywise.

It is directed by Andrés Muschietti, and written by Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman. The film is being distributed by Warner Bros.

The film stars Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise The Dancing Clown with Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Nicholas Hamilton.

Stephen King’s It is set to hit theaters September 8th, 2017.
